TERENCE VELLA 200TH PREMIER LEAGUE GAME

In the match against Valletta on Sunday 7th March, Terence Vella, also known as Il-Pilla, made his 200th Premier League appearance, scoring Gudja United’s third goal, moments after coming as a substitute.

Vella, aged 30, began his senior career with Gudja United in the Second Division (2006) but made his top-flight debut with Birkirkara during season 2010-2011. He also had spells with Mosta, Hamrun Spartans, back with Birkirkara, Naxxar Lions, Qormi, Senglea Athletic, Floriana, and this season, for the first time, back with Gudja. The goal against Valletta was his 32nd goal in the Premier Division.

Well done Pilla.
