Hamrun Spartans displayed their dominance by convincingly defeating Gudja United 3-0 for their third consecutive win, solidifying their position as championship contenders.
Their impeccable organization stifled Gudja’s attempts throughout the match. While Gudja showed some positive moments late in the game, they couldn’t alter the outcome.
The Spartans took the lead in the 18th minute when Roko Prsa skilfully passed on the ball to Seth Paintsil in the box, who then beat Yeren Sozer with a well placed shot.
Hamrun’s offensive prowess remained relentless when Uros Djuranovic’s precise pass to Luke Montabello led to the second goal.
In the second half, Hamrun picked up where they left off, scoring their third goal in the 55th minute when Luke Montabello scored his second goal, securing Hamrun’s triumph.
